This video shows you how to install and operate the Geberit BIM plug-in for Autodesk Revit.
The following topics are addressed:
In this video we show you how to plan the Geberit drain fittings for bathtubs in your model.
The most important Geberit waste fittings for bathtub drainage are now available. These are parametrically adaptable and easy to plan.
In this video we show you how to import a piping system from an existing project into a new project.
As of the new version, it is possible to import an already planned piping system from an existing project into a new project. All relevant information is also imported.
This video shows how you can update outdated Geberit articles in your model.
This video shows you how to handle Mepla pipe insulation.
In this video we show you the extensions in our Revit families of the Geberit Duofix sanitary elements.
In this video we show you how to plan and place the fastening system in the Pluvia module.
All fastening elements of the Geberit Pluvia system are now available. When calculating the Pluvia system, the fastening elements are visualized back into the model.
In this video we show you how the vapor barrier connections for the Pluvia roof outlets are placed and visualized in the model.
The vapor barrier connections of the Geberit Pluvia roof outlets are now integrated in the selection list and are visualized in the model after the calculation.
In this video we show you how to choose whether to import shared parameters into the Pluvia project.
As of the new version, shared parameters can be reused in the Pluvia project.
In this video we show you how you can freely determine the order of the calculations in Pluvia projects.
The new version of the Geberit BIM plug-in makes it possible to determine the order of calculations in Pluvia projects using a list.
The visualization of the installation frames and elements can now be activated in the installation systems after the calculation. Thus, you get an accurate BOM for installation systems which can also be used for the planning and calculation of prefabricated systems.
In this video we show you how to determine the optimal cutting of your pipe segments during the planning phase.
With this tool it is already possible in the planning stage to cut pipe segments in such a way that there is as little waste as possible. At the end of the process you will receive an exact list with the best possible lengths of all pipe segments and can thus prepare the prefabrication already in the planning. The focus is on the best possible use of the available pipe material.
This video shows you how to switch from the standard diameter to the outside diameter when planning piping systems.
In some countries, the outside diameter OD is used instead of the standard diameter DN. The Geberit BIM plug-in offers the option of working with both diameter types.
Perfect for tenders
Public projects are often tendered on a manufacturer-neutral basis. When the manufacturer-neutral view is activated via the assistance, no article number, product name or manufacture-specific information is displayed in the identity data.
Once the tender is over, this can be reset so that the time-consuming replacement of objects in the BIM model is no longer necessary.
Connect fitting tool
With the connect fittings tool you can remove unnecessary pipe segments between two fittings and connect the fittings directly together.
Thus, you will have a more realistic design that more precisely represents what will be installed.
