Benefits of Geberit Mepla
Easy to install
The multilayer pipe combines the advantages of metal and plastic, making installation easier.
The pipes can be effortlessly cut to length with the Geberit Mepla pliers and deburred in a single step.
The composite pipes can also be bent with ease – up to DN 20 without additional tools – while the internal aluminium layer ensures they retain their shape. Bending tools can be used for larger dimensions.
Special plastic cams on the plastic Geberit Mepla fittings and a retaining ring on the metal fittings provide a strong hold within the system pipe. This prevents the fitting from slipping out of the pipe during assembly and allows a single person to install, align and press the piping system with ease.

Reliable press connection
Geberit Mepla fittings are designed to ensure a secure installation process.
The clearly visible insertion depth stop gives plumbers the confidence that the pipe is correctly and fully inserted.
It also serves as a defined guide for the pressing jaws, ensuring they are applied precisely at the intended position. This prevents failed pressing sequences and ensures a reliable and durable connection.
Unpressed Geberit Mepla fittings are immediately identifiable during a water leak test. Water flows out of the unpressed connections, even at low water test pressure.

Proven system for drinking water installations
The Geberit Mepla multilayer pipe made of PE-RT (polyethylene of raised temperature resistance) and aluminium combines the benefits of both plastic and metal piping systems. The thick aluminium layer ensures a high level of stability and exceptional mechanical strength, while the polyethylene layers are corrosion-resistant.
Geberit Mepla system pipes have a homogeneous, longitudinally welded aluminium layer with an integrated weld seam. This ensures uniform bending properties in all directions.
The tensile strength of the pressing operation of Geberit Mepla system pipes and fittings ensures reliable and permanent connections. Their quality is constantly checked and exceeds the required standards many times over. This guarantees a high level of reliability – even in heavily utilised piping systems.
