Geberit Selnova S, M, L New rimless urinals

New sizes & rimless design
The urinals in the Selnova bathroom series are now available in three different sizes S, M and L. The rimless design is not only visually appealing and flowing, but also ensures greater hygiene. The ergonomic shape prevents splashes.

Innovative, water-saving flush technology
The new urinals have an innovative flush guide. It ensures that the ceramic is flushed thoroughly and efficiently across the entire surface with just half a litre of water.

Easy installation as always
While the new sizes offer more flexibility in terms of room design, installation remains as easy as you are used to. Thanks to the timeless design, the new Selnova urinal ceramics can also be seamlessly integrated into existing sanitary facilities.

Concealed urinal flush controls Flexible and hygienic in any operating situation
The use of concealed urinal flush controls is recommended in heavily frequented public areas and sanitary facilities. The control unit is installed behind the cover plate for better protection against vandalism. Touchless urinal flush controls with infrared user detection enable needs-based programming and reliable flush actuation. The controls allow flexible adjustment of the flush volume and various flushing programmes.
Dynamic flushing is activated as standard, which reduces the flush time in heavily frequented systems. This is how the urinal flush control automatically reduces water consumption where possible. These and other settings designed to ensure ease of use and stable operation can be easily switched off or changed as required.

Operation of the concealed urinal flush controls with the Geberit Control app
The settings can be changed by smartphone using the Geberit Control app. The benefits:
- Accurate IR user detection
- Robust and vandal-resistant electronics module
- Wide range of setting options
- Models for mains and battery operation
- Cover plates with IR sensor or pneumatic flush actuation available in numerous design, colour and material variants
- Networking possible via Bluetooth® or wired via Geberit Gateway

Cover plates for urinals Designs customised to the ceramic

Whether minimalist, modern or classically elegant, we offer a virtually unlimited choice of cover plate designs and materials to enhance the aesthetic appeal of public spaces.
The cover plates can also be protected against theft, vandalism or manipulation by a locking mechanism.

Frequently asked questions about urinals
Where can I buy Geberit urinals?
You can view and buy our urinal ceramics, urinal flush controls, partition walls and other required accessories at your local specialist dealership. Experience and compare our products right on site and make your choice. Your dedicated contact person will also be happy to advise you on installation issues.
When is it preferable to have either a waterless urinal over a flushable model and vice versa?
Waterless urinals are ideal for buildings where saving water is a priority and regular cleaning and maintenance work can be carried out.
Flushable urinals reduce the daily cleaning effort and offer customers additional hygiene and operational safety. The water consumption during operation of a flushable urinal should therefore be considered in relation to the cleaning effort.
How much effort is involved in cleaning waterless urinals compared to flushable urinals?
Waterless urinals require less cleaning effort than flushable models, because the absence of flushing means there are fewer limescale and urine deposits to deal with.
Nevertheless, regular cleaning and care remain important. This ensures a hygienic environment and helps to keep the functionality intact. Depending on the frequency of use, cleaning at least once a day is recommended.
Are waterless urinals hygienic?
Yes, waterless urinals are hygienic. As long as regular cleaning is carried out, the maintenance of waterless urinals remains hygienic without any cause for concern. The membrane in the drain keeps any unpleasant odours from the discharge pipes at bay.
How does a waterless urinal work?
The waterless urinals from Geberit feature a rubber/silicone membrane. This ensures that liquid can drain from the urinal without unpleasant odours from the discharge pipes entering the room.
How long does it take to install a waterless urinal?
A professional plumber will usually require around 30 minutes to install a waterless urinal.
I’m thinking of installing a urinal at home. What should I take into account?
People tend to look for a more compact ceramic appliance when installing a urinal in the home. Depending on your chosen urinal flush control, you should pay attention to the available space to avoid actuating an incorrect flush.
A urinal is easy to clean, and some models can even be fitted with a lid.
When installing a urinal at home, we recommend using a concealed urinal flush control with infrared user detection or a pneumatic cover plate.
